The dolphin house
This diving spot belongs to one of the most well-known in the world and therefore is one
of our top diving spots.
what you need to know
The dolphin house has been subject to legal restrictions for some time and consequently one
can only dive there restrictedly.
Due to the high number of 300 divers and snorklers a day in the past who had battered the
dolphins, the government of Egypt was forced to give back the dolphin's private space. On
the one hand this decision was good for the dolphins but on the other hand it was to the
diver's and snorklers disadvantage.
Ever since these restraints must be followed:

only 100 divers/snorklers are allowed a day

the log-on procedure lasts up to 4 or 5 days

the additional fees (besides the general coast-guard-fee, environment

protection fee,...) for this diving spot only, are 25,- € for each

diver/snorkler. Therefore the total sum, incl. transfer and boat for

this trip has risen.

the bay the dolphins are actually in is neither to be dived nor to be

snorkelled in and is fenced off by buoys.

you must leave by 3 pm. and this is controlled by the coast guard.
We and all other lovers of nature do understand this decision made by the Egyptian government.
Due to these regulations reservations have to be made in time. This reservation can only be made
locally and not by e-mail, fax or telephone. Please do not be disappointed if there is no opportunity
to make this trip when only visiting a week.
If you don't want to do without the opportunity to see dolphins, you should take part in our trip to
